ALNASER AIRLINES started operations in 2004 and remained in operations until 2017 when they changed their name to Al Naser Wings. Along with the brand change, they also changed their IATA code from NR to their current IATA identifier of NG. Officially they are a private Iraqi airline that operates from three Iraqi cities to Damascus in Syria and Baku in Azerbaijan They have one B737 in their fleet (Boeing 737-48E), with registration code of YI-AQS which will be 27 years old in 2019. They previously operated a fleet of A340 aircraft which they sold to Mahan Air. Al Naser Wings operates scheduled services on the following routes: Najaf, Iraq to Damascus, Syria five weekly services and vice versa. Baghdad, Iraq, to Damascus Syria two flights weekly and vice versa. Basra, Iraq to Damascus, Syria two flights weekly and vice versa. Najaf, Iraq to Baku, Azerbaijan one flight weekly
